NEW MUSIC: JENNIFER LOPEZ – FIRST LOVE

Jennifer Lopez’s latest single, ‘First Love’. has leaked online. The song is taken from her upcomming untitled album. It is the second single to follow up from French-Montanna assisted track ‘I Luh Yu Papi’ which was released last month. The new single is written and produced by Max Martin who has worked with the likes of Britney Spears and Katy Perry.

In an interview with Billboard magazine, Lopez confessed that her new album is about ‘A stronger Jennifer’. She said: “It’s a stronger Jennifer. The things I went through comes out here, a Jennifer that still believes in love but she’s more grown now.”

Jennifer Lopez has teamed up with ‘Baby One More Time’ hitmaker Max Martin for the next single taken from the star’s eighth studio album. Yesterday at her album listening party, Jenny revealed that the follow-up her French Montana assisted ‘I Luh Ya Papi’ will be a song called ‘First Love’. The song is said to be a uptempo banger and will include lyrics like:

 “I wish you were my first love/ ‘Cos if you were my first/Baby there wouldn’t have been no second, third or fourth love”.

Other track titles from the upcoming album include ‘Emotion’ which is co-written by Chris Brown and “Acting Like That” produced by Rockstar. And of course, Jlo has teamed up with Pitbull for the fourth time on track ‘Big Booty’ which is produced by Diplo and written again by the help of Brown.

Speaking about the new untitled LP at her album listening party, JLO reveals that the theme of the album is love and that it represents a ‘stronger Jennifer’. She said:

“This album definitely represents a stronger Jennifer”.

“My topic has always been love,” she explained. “Love in a fairy-tale kind of way and praying and wishing for that. 

“After all these years, I’ve learned that love is something other than what I thought it was,” she added. I’m just more grown now.”

The album is expected to hit shelves in June.
